FAQ

Will my insurance cover the procedures?

At this time, most insurance providers do not cover stem cell injections or PRP procedures. However, these therapies are affordable and generally cost far less than surgery.

Don’t suffer through any more pain or debility – contact us right away to get started with advanced regenerative therapy and begin on the road to recovery.

Is there a long recovery?

You will be able to leave our office on your own and go home the same day as the treatment. This is in contrast to orthopedic surgeries which can require weeks or even months of recovery and rehabilitation.

Will I need to stay in the hospital with PRP or regenerative amniotic allograft cells?

A hospital admission is not required for PRP or regenerative amniotic allograft cells. They are both in-office procedures.

How many treatments will I need?

There is no single answer to this question as each patient and case is unique. The number of PRP or stem cell injections needed depends on your overall health, location of your problem, and severity of your issue. A single treatment may suffice, or you may need several injections.

Are PRP treatments painful?

There is little to no pain associated with PRP therapy. Some patients report mild tenderness and swelling a few days after the treatment.

Are regenerative amniotic allograft cells therapy painful?

Most patients report very little to no pain with regenerative amniotic allograft cells. Local anesthetic is used whenever appropriate, both during the stem cell harvesting and subsequent injection. You may experience some discomfort as well as some swelling and bruising for a few days following the procedure.

How can platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments help me heal?

PRP contains several times more platelets than your normal blood. These platelets and their associated growth factors drive your existing stem cells to regenerate damaged tissue. As a result, PRP treatments kick your body’s natural healing into “overdrive.”

Is PRP therapy safe?

Overall, yes. Since your own blood is being used, the risk of allergic reaction, inflammation, and infection are minimal. We also perform PRP treatments in a sterile manner to avoid infection.
